AI Companion is a GenAI tool that interfaces through the Zoom app. AI Companion can generate chat responses during Zoom calls, catch you up on what was previously discussed in a meeting, and much more. BYU currently has contact with Zoom for the AI Companion service, and is being evaluated by campus test groups.

Conditionally Approved

This service is conditionally approved. While using Zoom AI Companion as a university employee with a licensed account, Zoom AI Companion provides data protection. Use best judgement when deciding whether or not to use AI Companion features in any given Zoom meeting. Always adhere to the BYU privacy policies.
